Dinosaur Tails

I got a link from a friend who commented for these Dragon Tails and I have just been waiting for the perfect time to make them! Yesterday we had some time and Jacob needed a project. Seriously Jacob needs a project everyday, he's addicted...don't know where that came from...We used fabric from my felted wool drawer because I didn't have anything right in my "cute, trendy, vintage" drawer that would work for my boys. We also had to make a tail for the neighbor boy because he came to the house at just the right time and wanted one.
Would you believe that the first thing the kids wanted to do when their tails were done (and their lunch was gone) was to ride their scooters? Ha! Perfect Photo Op, if you ask me! I was just dying laughing watching all these cute little dragon bums!

I love how Bekah is sticking her bum out here, emphasizing her cute tail!And on another note...here is a view of the sky a few nights ago. The Wallow fire in Arizona is HUGE. Scary big. The fire is close to 400,000 acres and is 0% contained. And every night the smoke rolls into Los Lunas and Albuquerque making for an interesting sunset (when you can see through the smoke.) It is unbelievably smoky considering how far away we are.
Rus took these pics and I thought they were awesome...and eerie.Pray for rain, that's all I can say!
