My New Love: Water Aerobics

That's right. Every Tuesday and Thursday morning I get my kids fed and dressed, drive to Albuquerque, drop them off in the wonderful (free with membership) daycare room for two hours of bliss...Half of it in the water, and the other half getting showered and ready for the day without the help of my children. It really is my favorite thing these days. Being able to move freely in the water really balances out the fact that my swimsuit is stretching thinner over my belly these days. And it feels wonderful to move and exercise and not feel like I'm pregnant. I might be the youngest person in the pool by about 30-40 years. I might be the only person not wearing a brightly colored flowery swimsuit with skirt. They might have looked at me funny until I really started looking pregnant a couple weeks ago, wondering what in the world I was doing in their midst...But I think all these things only add to the wonderful, invigorating adventure-ness of it all. It is so fun, and I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone that they try out water aerobics if they ever get the chance...If not now, then certainly when you're a beautiful little grandma in a flowery suit, cap, water shoes, and all!

Water aerobics is great! And, being the only young, non-raisin there will definitely be a self-esteem boost on the days when pregnancy makes you feel huge! Fun!!

That's so funny...I don't know why old ladies are the ones taking most advantage of the water aerobics thing...I did it once for a class, and I loved it. Maybe I'll do it again when I'm bigger pregnant! That's a really good idea...

Oh, this has got to be one of my most favorite things ever!! Oh, I am so thrilled that you finally caved and gave into water...the weighlessness, the sweet caress, the chlorine smell (tell Beka that is the best smell every), sometimes when you forget to shave your legs...the sensation of the hair swooshing in the water....WELCOME!
