Ahhh.Now you may understand.
The lack of posts...
(because not feeling good does not make for interesting reading)
I have never before had a pregnancy that completely unsettled me, that made me forget who I am and what things I like/don't, like this one.
Cookies? BLAH. Well, maybe. Okay, YUM. Girl Scout cookies? PLEASE!
KFC? Gross. Wait, extra crispy! YUM. Okay, um, no.
Fast food in general? Heaven help me, yes. But I can say no. Mostly.
Sewing? No.
Drawing? Later. Tomorrow. In a few days. Not right now.
Nap? No. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Tums? Chalky. Gross. Necessary.
Salt? Yes.
Butter? Yes.
Moving in general? Not so much.
Four months ago I ran a 10K. I fit in my clothes. I really wanted to be pregnant. And now I am and I'm happy, really, I'm just also hormonal and tired and hungry. Isn't it funny how something we want so much can turn out to be really hard? I have realized that I like to (need to) be strong, capable, and energetic. And when I'm not I feel really useless.
So I have a little baby girl outfit hanging in my closet (because that's what I'm hoping for, to be honest), and I see it everyday, and it reminds me that all is well.
This is worth it.
I guess you can tell this is my fourth, huh. :)
So...happiness will be delivered sometime around August 28th.
Chubby cheeks.
Chunky legs.
Pink or blue.
It will be a sweet and miraculous ending to this to-do list (list at the end of the post).

Congrats to you! I am sorry you haven't been feeling well and I TOTALLY get it. I felt the same way when all I did was throw up all day because I didn't feel useful. Having made it to the end, it is worth it. Hang in there.
Congratulations! I hope it's a girl too! I'm sorry you're not feeling well...it's a good thing we forget the horrible things about pregnancy and birth so we're willing to do it again!
Keri! You are so awesome, and you are such a great mom! Congratulations!! I think you are the best and I want to be just like you!
Aw, YAY! Congrats Keri! So funny - I haven't blogged in ages and I finally go check everyone's blogs and whoa, babies everywhere!
Hope it goes fantastically and you get all the salt and butter your heart desires.
Keri- I vote for a boy and it can come a day early which surprisingly is my birthday and you can name him Cliffy! Go team!
Ahhhh! Congrats! That is so exciting. Everyone is having August babies...what was going on 9 months prior to that? Ha ha. So happy for you and here's to feeling a little bit more like yourself. Soon.
Congrats Keri and family!!! I hope you get your second girl! :0)
Congrats!!! I'm sorry you're feeling so blah. But that's very exciting news!!! Miss you!
