I think I've told you before...my pregnant brain is slightly crazy. Just ask my friend Taffy, although she'll probably add that it is also entertaining to hear/see me say/do things that just don't make sense.
Last night I didn't sleep very well - my brain exerted itself to unnecessary measures, playing Colbie Callait's Brighter than the Sun song over and over in my head (I swear all night), while I made the Hartman's cream biscuits over and over again - except I don't have the actual recipe, I just know the ingredients, so I felt like I spent the whole night worrying about getting the recipe from the Hartman's.
Seriously.
Who does that?
I'm blaming it on the cake mix cookies I made yesterday. Chocolate seems to mess up my sleep when ingested in large quantities.
It could possibly be the stress of this move, though. You would be proud to know that we have cleared most of the boxes out of the house. I have one (okay one big and two little) in the extra bedroom, and there are a few in my closet in my bedroom (because I don't own a dresser...), and then there are some in the laundry room...oh and there are a few in my kitchen because whoops the cabinet lady forgot to include pantry shelves in my order and I didn't catch it until now. But beyond that the house looks pretty good. I even have pictures on the wall. And curtains. Yes, curtains hanging in my kids' rooms (they slept in till 7am, thankyouverymuchblackoutcurtains.) And most of my cabinets have pulls. I have even made dinner the last three nights in a row. I should feel like super woman but the To Do list is so much longer than the Done list, and maybe being 38 weeks along is starting to wear on me a little bit. Or a lotta bit. Just ask Rus. Wait, don't...
Tom...Mary...Can you send me the cream biscuit recipe? I really need it.
Baby...Can you stop messing up my sleep?
Brain...Can you pick a nice David Lanz song for tonight?
Rus...Do you have two more weeks in you?
Beau...Can you stop pooping in your choneys (underwear)? It's gross.
Colonel...Why the obsession with eating used tissues?
Jacob and Bekah...forgive me, but I can't wait until you start school next week...

Call me with your new address, but call my home phone, call phone is lost. Have a really busy day but chucked it all to make something for baby, but I can't mail it, I don't know where to send it!
OH how I love to laugh out loud to your posts. That last little part was awesome. Sounds like Beau and Sadie could be friends. But anyway, girl you should be downright proud of yourself for getting all of that accomplished with 38 weeks of baby in your belly. Hope your pantry shelves come soon! Seriously, who doesn't order shelves?
Hang in there, Keri!
