My kids have all been sick...more about that later. Bekah and Beau are done...the last hit was Jacob. He started throwing up last night - turns out throwing up makes him really mad. In between each episode he would yell into his spew-bucket: "I don't like to throw up! I hate this! It hurts!" It was funny...and sad. So today we're having a pajama day and the plan was that while he watched movies all day I would clean and disinfect my house. It worked for a little while and then Jacob wanted to do a project. So we made these monsters from paper, felt, googly eyes and glue. Very entertaining...and now we're heading back to our schedule of movies and cleaning. And not spewing.One can hope.

Love the monsters! Did you use paper towel rolls or just rolled up construction paper?
Joy - No spewing for me, hooray! And the monsters are from construction paper, stapled together in the back. The idea was in Parents magazine with paper towel rolls that you paint, but I went super simple...and clean.
Those are so amazingly cute! I feel the same way as Jacob when I throw up. I just lay around an make sure everyone knows how miserable I am ;)
your so creative with your kids. I love it! They are lucky! i need to be more like that with Paige. I hope you guys are feeling better. Its no fun to be sick or have sick kids.
